Trip to Tinui Cross Sunday 24 April. We couldn’t have wished for better weather for our walk up to the Cross. We choseSunday 24 so as to avoid the groups that will go up on ANZAC day. There were 7 of us…Sandra, Katrina, Laura, Mike, Phil, John and David.On the way up we stopped for morning tea and for John (Rhodes) to have his usualbrew-up and then headed up to the cross. A couple of us had previously seen thesign that leads past Lake Hope – full to a lookout and this time we took the track andwere not disappointed by the great view over the settlement and further out. A quick lunch and an Easter egg from Sandra and we made our way back down to the cars.
