First up, a thank you to Nathan for alerting us to the Met Service's Orange Wind Warning, which made the planned walk to the incline rather unattractive.
Our Plan B walk from Cotter St Rail Trail to Woodside Station departed around 9am. Participants were Shona, Peter, Nathan, Josh, Christine, Phil (and Izzie) and Marysia (from the South Wai Club). John Rhodes had promoted the incline walk with the South Wai Club and there were another two people who had planned to join us on that.
It was a warm, pretty and very blustery walk along the flat path and we were all pleased to take shelter at the Woodside Station before returning back to Cotter St. The faces look glum ... but I think we were all agreed it was nice to get a cheeky 10km of 'fresh' air and walk in before lunchtime freeing up the afternoon for other activities.
